NYs OMH licensed outpatient mental health clinic in Dix Hills, Suffolk County is seeking a clinician to work a minimum of 12 scheduled hours, combining evenings and/or Saturday hours. Clientele includes children, adolescents, adults, and families.
Depending on credential and type of service provided, reimbursement ranges from $25- $50 per appointment. Sessions conducted in Spanish provide additional compensation.
Responsibilities- Carry a clinical case load that will include providing individual, family, collateral and group treatment and crisis planning.
- Design and implement treatment plans for assigned cases.
- Provide direct treatment to clients in accord with clinical privileges.
- Involve significant others in the course of treatment.
- Schedule and conduct Intakes including all assessment paperwork for pre-admissions screening (PAS).
- Complete daily charge tickets for all appointments.
- Prepare referral material for clients to secure services from other community resources, such as SPOA services, housing, case management, vocation placement and/or otherwise.
- Participate at staff meetings, in-service training programs and consultation with team members.
- Participate in training and integrate evidence-based treatment in provision of clinical services.

QualificationsM.A. or a Masters Degree in a discipline related to the treatment of mental illness (LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, LMFT)
EducationMasters or better.
