Step into an impactful contract opportunity as a School Psychologist supporting a vibrant educational community for the entire 26/27 academic year. This full‑time position is based at a single school site and focuses mainly on preschool evaluations and testing, though involvement may span the entire district as needed. You’ll play a crucial role in providing high‑quality assessments and working collaboratively to support students’ development and learning outcomes in a district near Dixon, CA.

Qualifications

and Desired Experience
  • Valid credential in School Psychology or eligibility for state certification
  • Experience conducting psychological and educational assessments, especially with preschool‑aged children
  • Familiarity with best practices in evaluations, interventions, and reporting
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently and efficiently
  • Experience with diverse student populations preferred
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
  • Focus primarily on preschool assessments while also serving students district‑wide as necessary
  • Prepare, interpret, and present assessment results for eligibility and educational programming
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth and learning
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with district and legal standards
