JOB SUMMARY/
JOB DUTIES:
- Wear personal protective equipment
- Follow health and safety standards
- Inspect all incoming tomatoes and identify and remove all foreign materials
- Inspect sorting tables and related equipment for proper operation, set up and maintenance
- Maintain a clean workstation and production floor
EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Lift up to 50-pound buckets of material
- Physical dexterity
- Shovel, wrap hoses, scrub and general housekeeping
- Push, pull, bend, scoop, climb stairs, twist, squat and stand for long periods of time
- Seasonal / Temporary – July through October timeframe
- Indoor food processing plant environment – hot, humid and noisy
- Seven-days per week (Monday through Sunday) – must be able to work any shift (6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, 10pm to 6am)
- Overtime when needed and on call as well as alternate schedules
- Pay $20.26+/HR
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. - Empujar, tirar, inclinarse, recoger, subir escaleras, girar, ponerse de cuclillas y de pie durante largos períodos de tiempo
- Estacional / Temporal – Período de tiempo de julio a octubre
- Ambiente vegetal de procesamiento de alimentos en interior es – caliente, húmedo y ruidoso
- Siete días a la semana (de lunes a domingo) – deben poder trabajar cualquier turno (de 6am a 2pm, 2pm a 10pm, 10pm a 6am)
- Horas extras cuando sea necesario y de guardia, así como horarios alternativos
