Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Math Teacher to join the faculty at Webster County High School. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment, inspire students to develop a love for mathematics, and equip them with the necessary skills for academic success. This full-time position requires a commitment to student growth, collaboration with colleagues, and active participation in the school community.

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through regular assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback.
• Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and fosters a growth mindset.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance instructional practices and contribute to a cohesive educational experience.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and progress.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events to support the school community.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation.
• Implement classroom management strategies to promote a respectful and productive learning environment.
• Stay current with educational best practices, curriculum changes, and advancements in mathematics education.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field;
  Master’s degree preferred.
• Valid teaching certification in Mathematics for the appropriate grade level.
• Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and the ability to convey them effectively to students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Experience in teaching mathematics at the high school level is preferred.
• Proficient in using technology and educational software to enhance teaching and learning.
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment for all students.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
