Illinois Department of Corrections, Dixon Correctional Center, is seeking a Stationary Engineer responsible for the Power Plant and its equipment. The role includes scheduling repairs and shutdowns to ensure maximum operation and minimal emergencies, plus leading a work crew and ensuring adherence to policy.
Minimum four years in power plant operation with high/low-pressure boilers. Preferred experience with hot water systems, chemicals for boilers, backhoe/skid loader, and report writing.
