School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Dixon, Illinois

Step into a key role supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist in an elementary school setting for the upcoming semester. Based in northern Illinois, this contract opportunity will let you put your expertise to work while providing crucial assistance to young learners. The assignment is set from February through the end of May, with hours and specific caseload details to be determined.

Youll be primarily assigned to work at one school with the opportunity to help another SLP upon her return later in the first semester.

• Active Illinois state license in Speech Language Pathology
• Experience in an educational setting preferred
• Comfortable collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to adapt and contribute flexibly as caseloads shift
• Organized and compassionate, with a commitment to helping students achieve communication goals

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to students, ages and caseload to be determined
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Maintain thorough documentation compliant with district and state requirements
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate goals into classroom activities
• Provide assistance and SLP support when another SLP transitions back onsite
