The Industrial Engineer is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving productivity, reducing waste, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This role works closely with production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to improve safety, efficiency, cost, and product quality across fabrication, assembly, and finishing operations.
Specific
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze manufacturing processes (steel forming, panel fabrication, insulation, assembly, painting/coating, packaging)
- Conduct time studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis
- Develop and maintain standard work instructions and labor standards
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping)
- Support new product introductions and engineering changes
- Improve workstation layouts, material flow, and plant layouts
- Identify root causes of scrap, rework, and downtime
- Analyze production costs and recommend cost-reduction strategies
- Develop KPIs and manufacturing performance dashboards
- Promote safe work practices and ergonomic improvements

Pay: $60,
The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Education:
Required
- Bachelors or better in Engineering or related field.
- High School or better.
