Shift Hours and Compensation

3rd shift hours: core hours are Sunday night 11:00 pm – 7:15 am, Monday morning through Thursday night/Friday morning. Overtime during the week and Friday night/saturday morning are required. Pay range is 23.69 to 26.51 per hour depending on experience, plus a 50‑cent third‑shift premium. A Class C license must be obtained after employment starts.

• Maintain a safe, orderly, stable and efficient flow of materials, equipment and supplies throughout the plant and within required time frames.
• Ensure all SAP transactions are entered accurately and performed as required.
• Load, unload, and transfer freight to/from trucks or the warehouse to work centers as needed.
• Support all areas of receiving, shipping, warehouse, and inventory tasks.
• Participate actively in a teamwork approach to achieving goals.
• Operate forklift or other powered industrial trucks, hand trucks, tuggers, and Class C non‑CDL vehicles safely and within plant policies.
• Use required PPE and comply with plant safety rules and training.
• Maintain housekeeping and a well‑organized plant area that supports a visual factory philosophy.
• Assist in verifying inventory accuracy and implement corrective actions where needed.
• Prepare freight for shipment, including stretch‑wrapping and banding when required.
• Match SAP paperwork with materials to shipments and verify data integrity before loading.
• Examine Bill of Lading and Packing Tickets for accuracy, inspect for damage, and ensure proper labeling and storage.
• Conduct proofing, notify personnel of non‑conformances, and prepare scrapped materials for pickup.
• Pick materials for staging shipments, tugger route deliveries, and refills for high‑density warehouse locations.
• Support warehouse cycle counts and handle waste and recyclables.
• Perform SAP warehouse transactions as necessary.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Powered industrial truck permit or competence on all related equipment used at the plant.
• Class C license required.
• Good safety and attendance record.
• Prior PIT experience of at least one year; more than five years preferred.
• Experience with SAP transactions preferred.

• Good math, reading, writing, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
• Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• PC literacy in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to adapt schedule to meet customer shipping, production, and receiving schedules.
• Strong keyboarding and scanning skills.

Essential tasks include standing, walking, talking, hearing, using hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, reaching with hands and arms, tasting or smelling archives. Up to 50 pounds may need to be lifted or forces exerted. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
