Complex Assembly Operator

Located in Dixon, IL, the Complex Assembly Operator assembles components or products according to specifications, brings production lines component parts from inventory, and works the 1st shift (Monday through Thursday, 4:00am to 2:00pm).

• Assemble parts and components according to specifications and work instructions
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure quality standards are met
• Picks orders according to pick list or shipment orders
• Counts and/or weighs piece parts/finished goods; performs cycle counting
• Uses computer to encode piece parts that were removed and/or returned to inventory
• Encodes and puts away incoming material
• Handles finished goods
• Prepares shipments for next day, second day, third day, international, consignee billing, and other specialized shipments
• Operate hand tools, small machinery, and other equipment safely
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Previous experience in assembly, packing, or manufacturing
• Computer knowledge
• Ability to read and understand work instructions
• Good hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Basic math and measurement skills

• Manufacturing experience
• Familiar with basic hand tools

Hourly Rate: $21.45. Actual salaries may vary based on experience, training, education, and performance. This position is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on performance and company growth.
