Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer I role supports the manufacturing environment by ensuring product quality, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.

• Develop and implement methods and procedures for process control, process improvement, testing, and inspection to ensure products are free of flaws and function as designed.
• Perform product testing and analysis to minimize potential defects and failure rates, maintaining quality levels efficiently and cost‑effectively.
• Implement sampling plans, statistical process control (SPC) techniques, and quality‑assurance procedures.
• Analyze production limitations, standards, reports, and defective products to determine trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Recommend revision of specifications when indicated.
• Represent quality assurance in product design and development projects.
• Develop the economics of quality control programs when required.
• Recognize critical problem areas and potential consequences, seeking guidance to find alternate solutions.
• Develop competence by performing structured work assignments.

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or related technical field.
• 6+ months of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Exemplar Global Certified Lead Auditor IATF
  16949:2016.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer.
• AIAG PFMEA training certification.
• LEAN/Six Sigma Green Belt.
• World Class Manufacturing (WCM) training/experience.
• Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office.
• Effective communication skills.

Annual Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,800.
