Building Maintenance, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic

Sinnissippi Centers continues to grow and is seeking to add an additional Maintenance Specialist position to our facilities management program. This position will participate in all physical aspects of maintaining a busy outpatient and residential behavioral health system.
Requirements- The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in building trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, landscaping and all other elements of building maintenance.
- The ability to operate independently and as a part of the maintenance team.
- A positive attitude and a dedication to helping others.
- The ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Driver's license required.
- Facilities management for 14+ office/residential sites, including interior and exterior upkeep.
- Plumbing: installing toilets or fixtures to running lines, fittings both PEX, brazing/soldering, use of shark bits, PVC, CPVC, repairs to pipes both drain and supply. Knowledge of sump pumps and systems.
- Electrical: replacing light switches, outlets, lights, rewiring or bypassing fluorescent fixtures, troubleshooting lines, and outlet circuits, and creating and repair of electrical circuits; 110V-220V.
- HVAC: basic understanding of HVAC up to diagnostic and repair.
- Drywall: finish drywall of contractor quality, from repairs to remodeling.
- Flooring: installation of flooring tiles, removal of carpet and flooring.
- Repairs: on doors, door closures, door handsets, buildings, furniture, and anything on, in, or around any building we must repair or maintain.
- Painting: cutting in, taping, proficient in painting. keeping the workspace clean, no lines on walls from rollers, etc.
- Landscape: mowing, weeding, pruning of bushes, raking of leaves, building retaining walls, cutting of tree and tree branches.
- Construction: full remodel of office spaces, with steel studs, knowledge of drop ceilings is beneficial.
- Furniture mover: be able to move furniture from site to site and within the site. Move supplies as needed. Be able to assemble furniture.
- Automotive: basic maintenance oil changes, brakes, suspension to full diagnostic troubleshooting and repair.
- Snow removal in winter. Snow shoveling, blowing snow, some plow work, salting of sidewalks.
- Identification of practices to improve the physical quality of the interior and exterior of Sinnissippi facilities.
Pay: $23.65 - $24.83 per hour
Hours are 7:30am - 4:00pm, 5 days a week. Some emergent calls in after hours. Hours could be 6 am - 2:30 pm for snow removal, sometimes earlier and sometimes later - weather dependent.
