- Executing Project Tasks: assist with shoveling, raking, wheelbarrow operation, signal operators, and materials movement.
- Operating Tools & Equipment: operate small power tools (e.g., jackhammer) and manage traffic control devices.
- Material Handling: lift, carry, and position construction materials, tools, and supplies safely.
- Site Preparation: dig, spread, and level construction materials to prepare job sites.
- Problem Reporting: proactively communicate concerns to management.
- Adaptability: take on additional duties as assigned with a can‑do attitude.
- Safety‑Focused: thrive in safety‑sensitive environments and follow protective procedures.

- Physical Readiness: pass a pre‑employment "Fit for Work" physical, drug screening, and criminal background check; demonstrate endurance in lifting, carrying, and manual labor tasks.
- Documentation: provide valid I‑9 documentation for employment eligibility.
- Driver Requirements: complete safe driver training, maintain a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred), and have a good driving record.
- PPE Compliance: wear all required personal protective equipment per OSHA/MSHA and company policies.
- Age Requirement: at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED (preferred but not required).
- Prior experience in construction or paving is a plus.
Work Environment Requirements
- Climb, balance, and perform tasks involving physical agility.
- Regularly sit, climb, use hand signals or equipment; occasionally stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, or reach.
- Lift and move objects up to 25‑50 lbs.
- Work primarily outdoors in extreme weather and environmental conditions.
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions; exposed to jobsite hazards such as moving machinery, high places, airborne particles, and loud environments.
- Specific vision abilities required.
