Edible Rendering Cooker Operator responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Monitor operating temperatures and adjustfeed or discharge speeds required to maintain dischargetemperatures within the upper and lower limits
• Report any operational temperaturedeviations immediately to supervisor
• Monitor cooking levels
• Monitor and report changes in raw bin levels
• Monitor application or defoamer, reporting any deviations to supervisor
• Perform product quality testing
• Clean cooker in-feedmagnets at the beginning of each shift
• Check press magnets 2 times per shift
• Report any finds regarding the magnets to supervisor
• Acid application and monitoring
• Switching out chemical barrels
• Maintain log of barrel switch and lot numbers of barrels
• Preform dry pick up and wash down of all edible rendering areas
• Other duties as assigned

This is a safety sensitive position. This is an on-site position.

Qualified candidates for the Edible Rendering Cooker Operator should possess the following:

• Excellent safety and attendance record with previous employer
• Ability to read, write and speak English preferred but not required
• Ability to lift above the shoulder a minimum of 50 lbs
• Physical stamina to work while standing, walking or stooping for long periods of time
• Ability to perform all required tasks in a safe, efficient manner with minimal supervisor

Qualified candidates for this position will be required to successfully complete the background check.

Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
