Position SummaryXpress Wellness is seeking a provider for our Dodge City, KS location. This role is responsible for evaluating and treating patients with primary, urgent, episodic, and non‑emergent healthcare needs while following established clinical standards, protocols, and company guidelines.
Dodge City, KS Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform thorough patient evaluations, physical examinations, and assessments for urgent, emergent, and non‑urgent visits.
Order, perform, interpret, and review appropriate diagnostic testing, imaging, and lab studies to support clinical decision‑making.
Evaluate test results and diagnostic findings to determine appropriate diagnoses and treatment plans.
Prescribe and administer medications, treatments, therapies, vaccinations, and other medically appropriate interventions.
Provide hands‑on urgent care procedures, including laceration repair, orthopedic‑related care, and other common clinical services within scope of practice.
Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medical procedures, test results, follow‑up care, and referral needs.
Complete accurate and timely documentation in the medical record, including follow‑up notes, with charts completed and closed within 24–48 hours.
Participate in communication and coordination related to recruiting, training, trade events, and other operational needs as assigned.
Provide medical direction, consultation, care services, chart review, and supervision of healthcare staff as appropriate. The supervising Physician is available by direct telecommunication for consultation, medical emergencies, and referral support.
Assist with special projects and other assigned responsibilities. This position is designated as safety‑sensitive.

EducationMedical Doctor — MD/DO — Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant degree from an accredited institution.
Licensure/CertificationMust obtain and maintain an active professional license.
Nurse Practitioners must hold current board certification.
Must meet all applicable state and federal licensing requirements, including DEA registration.
Must maintain current Basic Life Support — BLS — certification.
ExperienceOne year of experience preferred but not required.
SkillsKnowledge of medical coding and billing practices.
Understanding of state and federal regulatory requirements, including OSHA, HIPAA, blood borne pathogen standards, and related healthcare compliance standards.
Proficiency with standard computer applications, including internet use, email, and Microsoft Office.
Ability to supervise, train, support, and evaluate both new and existing provider staff.
