Role: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) providing urgent, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department.
Responsibilities: Rapid patient assessment and triage, administering treatments and medications, supporting physicians, monitoring patient safety, documenting care, patient education, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient, patient-centered care.
Qualifications & Skills: At least one year of recent ER experience, valid RN license, current BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications. Essential skills include critical thinking, effective communication, physical stamina, technical proficiency, and the ability to work under pressure. Strong interpersonal and motor skills, visual acuity, and adaptability are required.
Key Duties: Assessing and prioritizing patient needs, explaining procedures, administering treatments, preparing equipment, monitoring vital signs, responding to emergencies, documenting in EMR, initiating patient education, and adhering to safety protocols.
