Retail Scan Associate (DODGE CITY KS 67801)

This is a permanent PART-TIME role. The base hours for this position average from 2-4.5 hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional hours (typically 1–2 hours per week per store) are frequently assigned for special projects throughout the year, with higher demand from January through June. Full scheduling details will be reviewed during the interview.

Scan Scape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve the sales performance of the product and retailer (store).

Grocery — DODGE CITY KS 67801 — Wednesday, Thursday

• Perform in-store data collection at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks. Store types include grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise stores, working with major brand retailers and national chains as well as small independents.
• Use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan barcodes in various locations throughout each store.
• Record quantities for approximately 45% of scanned products when requested.
• Complete Display Scanning across the store every week, which can take several hours.
• Support Custom Projects when clients request more specific details about products in main stocking locations; these occur almost every week and can add 30 minutes to 2 hours of work per store.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines and deliver high-quality data while maintaining dependability and independence in the workplace.

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage
• Ability to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
