Event Staff Position

Event Staff will greet patrons, check tickets, direct patrons to areas in the venue and be responsive to patron needs and behavior.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Projects professional appearance and manner.

Assists patrons to their proper seats and answer any questions such as offering directions to various points of interest, including seats, restrooms, concessions, etc.

Secures door entrances and exits.

Secures mixer, barricade, and helps with clearing and controlling aisles.

Keeps aisles and other areas clear.

Assists in inspection of items prohibited into the venue.

Checks for hazards.

Helps enforce venue policies/procedures.

Keeps unauthorized persons out of restricted areas.

Helps strike chairs after events for particular events.

Help clean up seated areas for particular events.

Works with Event Coordinator and/or Box Office Manager to fill out appropriate Incident Reports relating to patrons.

Provides assistance for patrons in emergency situations.

Performs other duties as assigned.
