Are you someone who likes to stay busy, work with your hands, and know exactly what needs to get done?

We’re looking for a reliable and safety-minded Shipper & Receiver to join our team in Dodge City, Kansas. This is a hands-on role where you’ll play an important part in keeping materials moving through our operation from receiving incoming parts and materials to preparing finished orders for shipment.

What You'll Do Shipping & Receiving
  • Receive incoming parts, materials, supplies, and equipment and verify quantities and condition.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging, labeling, tagging, and staging materials.
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect incoming materials and report discrepancies or damage.
  • Properly identify and organize materials for production and shipment.
  • Safely move parts and materials throughout the facility.
  • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
  • Use overhead cranes, hoists, and rigging equipment as required.
  • Keep material-handling equipment in safe working condition and report maintenance or repair needs.
  • Safely handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Follow proper procedures when moving large, heavy, or awkward materials.
Inventory & Warehouse Organization
  • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
  • Label materials with the appropriate sales order, job number, piece mark, or other identifying information.
  • Stage and kit materials for production and shipment.
  • Keep warehouse, storage, and work areas clean, safe, and organized.
Computer & Administrative Responsibilities
  • Enter parts sales orders and inventory information into our ERP system.
  • Generate and receive purchase orders.
  • Complete cycle counts and update inventory records.
  • Maintain accurate material and parts information.
  • Use Microsoft Office and other computer systems as part of your day-to-day work.
What We're Looking For

You don't need to check every box to be successful in this role. We're looking for someone who is dependable, organized, safety-focused, and willing to learn.

Required
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, material handling, manufacturing, or related experience.
  • Comfortable working with computers and inventory systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
Great to Have
  • Overhead crane experience.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience with ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Microsoft Excel and Word experience.
