Barzan University College is seeking a highly organized and proactive professional to lead library services while supporting key administrative and admissions functions. This role is ideal for a dynamic individual who can balance academic resource management with executive-level coordination in a fast-paced higher education environment.

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will manage day‑to‑day library operations, ensure effective access to academic resources, and provide structured administrative and admissions support across departments. This position requires strong organizational capability, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with senior leadership. We are looking for a candidate who is resourceful, service‑oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards in both academic support and institutional operations.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Library Services (Part‑Time Function)

  • Manage and maintain library resources and services
  • Organise, catalogue, and coordinate academic materials
  • Oversee circulation and digital/physical resource management
  • Support students and faculty with library access and research tools

Administrative & Admissions Support (Full‑Time Role)

  • Provide administrative support and other administrative duties as required
  • Assist in scheduling and coordination of academic activities
  • Support admissions procedures, documentation, and coordination
  • Maintain accurate student records and ensure compliance with institutional policies
  • Assist in planning and organising academic events and activities
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in library sciences (master’s preferred)
  • Prior administrative experience required
  • Experience in admissions processes is an advantage
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic highly desirable)
  • Professional, proactive, and detail‑oriented approach
