Tender Document Controller
Summary:
The Tender Document Controller plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant preparation and management of tender documentation for construction and engineering projects. This position is essential to the success of project bids, requiring meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate across multiple internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of project records, tracking document revisions, and ensuring all submissions meet strict deadlines and quality standards.
This role supports the estimation, engineering, procurement, and project management teams by providing reliable document control services throughout the tendering and project lifecycle.
- Manage and organize all tender and project documentation
- Prepare and submit tender files, technical documents, and supporting paperwork
- Maintain accurate records of drawings, BOQs, contracts, specifications, and correspondence
- Track document revisions, approvals, and updates efficiently
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders regarding document submissions
- Ensure all documents are properly filed and easily accessible when required
- Support the tendering and project teams with administrative and document control tasks
- Monitor submission deadlines and ensure timely delivery of documents
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of sensitive project information
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in tender document control or construction document management
- Strong experience in construction, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects
- Good understanding of tendering procedures and engineering documentation processes
- Proficiency in MS Office and document management systems
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive working attitude
