Library Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operation and coordination of library services
• Assist with information services classification cataloguing and records management activities
• Maintain accurate library records databases and information resources
• Support research and information requests from relevant stakeholders
• Coordinate effectively with museum and library teams to ensure smooth service delivery
• Use library databases and computer applications efficiently
• Maintain a professional organized and service-oriented library environment
• Follow assigned work schedules operational procedures and service requirements
• Maintain professional standards of conduct and appearance at all times

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a relevant related discipline.
• Librarian Certification is mandatory.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience; museum-related experience is highly preferred.
• Experience working within a library, museum, cultural institution, or similar professional environment is an advantage.
• Knowledge of library services, classification, records management, research methods, and information services.
• Strong computer skills, including experience working with databases and relevant applications.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory.
• Previous Qatar experience and local knowledge are preferred.
• First Aid training is an advantage.
• Must be flexible to work rotational shifts, weekends, public holidays, and call-off schedules based on operational requirements.
