The Operations Manager will drive the commercial and operational performance of the company’s oil and gas trading and services business. The role focuses on tendering, client engagement, contract execution, cost control, and profitability while ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities Commercial & Business Operations- Manage day-to-day operations with strong focus on revenue growth, cost optimization, and profitability.
- Support business development by identifying new opportunities and expanding client accounts.
- Monitor operational margins and implement cost‑control measures.
- Prepare operational inputs for management reports and commercial reviews.
- Lead the preparation, evaluation, and submission of tenders, bids, and commercial proposals.
- Coordinate pricing strategies, cost estimates, and vendor quotations.
- Review contractual terms, risks, and commercial conditions prior to submission.
- Support contract negotiations, variations, claims, and renewals.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients and suppliers.
- Maintain strong relationships with oil & gas operators, EPCs, and service providers.
- Ensure client satisfaction through effective service delivery and timely issue resolution.
- Oversee execution of awarded contracts to ensure delivery as per scope, timeline, and commercial terms.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, logistics, and finance teams.
- Ensure efficient resource allocation and subcontractor management.
- Ensure compliance with QHSE requirements, company policies, and client standards.
- Track KPIs related to sales performance, contract execution, and operational efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes and commercial performance.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in the oil & gas sector, preferably in trading and services companies
- Strong background in tendering, pricing, and commercial negotiations
- Proven experience managing contracts, vendors, and client relationships
- Arabic language skills preferred;
English proficiency required - Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and leadership skills
