Volkswagen Group Middle East is looking for a Business Development Manager to support and enhance dealer business performance across Audi Middle East (AME) and Volkswagen Middle East (VME).
This role plays a critical part in driving data-led decision‑making, improving dealer profitability, and strengthening business management capabilities across the dealer network. You will work closely with internal Sales and Aftersales teams, dealer partners, and external consultants to deliver insights, consultancy, and performance improvement initiatives.
MAIN GOALS & OBJECTIVES- Manage the AME & VME Business Management Programme, ensuring accurate and timely financial data submissions, high-quality analysis, and insightful reporting.
- Coordinate dealer consultancy programmes, track action plans, and manage the relationship with the third‑party business management agency (ASE UK).
- Management of the AME & VME DOTY programme for dealers, supporting Sales and Aftersales teams.
- Follow up with dealers and provide support to ensure timely and accurate data submissions.
- Continuously improve dealer financial reporting mechanisms.
- Develop and maintain dashboards aligned with AME & VME business needs (Qlik Sense).
- Ensure high data quality through validation with brand departments and ASE.
- Maintain a comprehensive repository of business management data.
- Coordinate regularly with Metis/ASE to enhance data quality and consistency.
- Analyse dealer financial data to conduct benchmarking and share best practices across the network.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the dealer network.
- Coordinate quarterly AME business management round tables with field teams, dealers, and Heads of Department.
- Co‑ordination of Profit Clinics for dealerships (with consultants).
- Co‑ordination of BM workshop with dealers to provide dealerships.
- Track and oversee the implementation of agreed dealer action plans.
- Support brand teams and dealers with what‑if scenarios assessing the impact of sales and after‑sales variables on profitability.
- Calculate breakeven points for new dealers and assess the viability of dealer investment projects.
- Provide on‑site dealer coaching on KPI interpretation and performance improvement actions.
- Support and consult dealerships on financial results using benchmarking, analytics, and market insights.
- Coordinate financial and cross‑functional performance workshops with VWGME Sales, Aftersales, and dealership teams.
- Coordinate submission of regional average data into the Audi MMRT system (in collaboration with ASE).
- Manage the AME & VME Dealer of the Year (DOTY) programme and provide ongoing support to Sales and Aftersales teams.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in Business or a related field
- 5–8 years of experience in the automotive industry, with exposure to sales, aftersales, planning, or marketing
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Strong data analytics skills and experience working with automotive KPIs
- Solid understanding of dealer business operations, processes, and financials
- Proven project management experience
- Ability to deliver consultancy support and guide dealers on best practices and data interpretation
- Strong analytical mindset with a proactive approach
- High levels of confidentiality, professionalism, and quality awareness
- Assertive, confident communication and stakeholder management skills
