Position: Assistant Sales Manager – Leisure Segment (Russian Speaker)

Position Summary

The ideal candidate will bring solid experience in the leisure segment, with a strong understanding of key feeder markets, seasonal demand patterns, and wholesale dynamics. A proactive approach to developing relationships with tour operators, travel agents, and strategic partners across the international markets is essential. The role requires a strong commercial mindset, the ability to drive transient leisure revenue, and a focus on positioning Al Messila as a preferred luxury resort destination in Doha.

The candidate should demonstrate excellent negotiation skills, market intelligence, and a structured approach to account management, while ensuring alignment with Marriott brand standards and revenue strategies.   • Build relationships with tour operators, travel agents, and strategic partners across international markets; drive leisure revenue and contribute to positioning Al Messila as a preferred luxury resort in Doha.
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation skills, market intelligence, and a structured approach to account management in line with Marriott brand standards and revenue strategies.
  • Provide guest-centric service, handle inquiries and requests, and support sales and marketing activities.
  • Assist management in training and motivating employees; model professional behavior; maintain confidentiality and protect company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to standards; anticipate and address service needs; maintain clear and professional communication.
  • Develop positive working relationships, support team goals, monitor quality adherence, and perform general office duties as needed to support Sales & Marketing.
Responsibilities
  • Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
  • Enter Marriott Rewards information into appropriate software when taking guest reservations; process requests for redeeming Marriott Rewards points.
  • Answer, record, and process guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns.
  • Provide general office support to Sales & Marketing (e.g., filing, emailing, typing, faxing).
  • Follow company policies and procedures; ensure professional appearance and confidentiality; protect company assets.
  • Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats; move objects weighing
