Overview
Qatar Energy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Marketer to join our Long Term LNG Sales team. This strategic role involves negotiating complex LNG Sales and Purchase Agreements (SPAs), driving business development initiatives, and optimizing cargo diversions to support the execution of Qatar Energy’s global LNG marketing strategy.
Responsibilities- Lead Negotiations:
Drive complex LNG contract negotiations with international customers, ensuring optimal commercial outcomes and alignment with Qatar Energy’s strategic goals. - Contract Management:
Steward long-term SPAs, ensuring compliance, value maximization, and strong customer relationships. - Market Intelligence:
Analyze global LNG market trends and regulatory developments to inform strategy and decision-making. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Coordinate with internal teams (Legal, Finance, C&S) to develop and implement new SPAs and resolve commercial disputes.
- Minimum 8 years in LNG marketing and business development within the hydrocarbon industry.
- Strong knowledge of LNG contract types including HoAs, Term Sheets, SPAs (FOB & Ex-Ship), and Confidentiality Agreements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Economics, Engineering, or Finance.
