Purpose of the position

As Technical Clerk you will be part of the Offshore Operations – Hook-up Department within Logistics & Personnel Coordination scope.

You will support crew change planning, personnel mobilization, and administrative coordination activities to ensure smooth offshore operations and compliance with project requirements.

Main job responsibilities
  • Mandatory Crew Change experience (2–5 years minimum) in offshore or oil & gas operations
  • Coordinate end-to-end crew mobilization and demobilization processes, including travel, visas, and accommodations
  • Maintain and update personnel tracking systems and documentation, ensuring data accuracy and compliance
  • Liaise with internal departments (HR, Logistics, Operations) and external vendors (travel agencies, immigration authorities)
  • Ensure timely crew rotations in line with project schedules and operational needs
  • Monitor compliance with company policies, international regulations, and client requirements
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Maritime Studies, or a related field
Background / Experience
  • 2–5 years experience as a Technical Clerk, Crew Officer, or Logistics Assistant, mandatory within offshore oil & gas, maritime, or construction industries
Technical Knowledge / Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with crew management or HR systems (e.g., SAP, crew planning tools, 3VM)
  • Knowledge of visa processing, immigration procedures, and offshore certification requirements
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
What else should you know?

Some travelling will be expected within Middle East and offshore locations depending on operational needs.
