- Assist the line manager in preparing and processing purchase orders to ensure accurate, timely delivery of goods and services.
- Coordinate with suppliers to confirm product details, pricing, and delivery timelines while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
- Monitor supplier performance and follow up on shipments to ensure compliance with deadlines and specifications.
- Maintain up‑to‑date purchase and pricing records for internal reference, reporting, and audit purposes.
- Ensure all procurement data is accurately entered into the order management system for traceability and compliance.
- Track foreign shipments and update Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) details to align with operational requirements.
- Maintain the supplier database by updating vendor templates in the JDE system for new registrations and changes.
- Monitor and review stock levels regularly to ensure inventory availability aligns with business demands.
- Collaborate with the Stores Department to manage reordering and stock forecasting based on consumption and revenue trends.
- Prepare regular procurement and forecasting reports for management review.
- High school qualification or bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Experience in aviation or large‑scale catering operations preferred.
- Strong understanding of purchasing procedures, order cycles, and inventory management principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems such as JD Edwards or Oracle.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
