Senior Revenue Management Analyst – Qatar Airways Group – Doha, Qatar

Position Overview

Qatar Airways Group is hiring a Senior Revenue Management Analyst to support pricing, demand, and inventory optimization across assigned points of sale and routes. This role plays a critical part in shaping pricing and inventory strategies to maximize network revenue, improve RASK performance, and maintain the airline’s competitive position in global markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage pricing and inventory decisions for assigned POS and routes based on booking trends, seasonality, competition, and demand patterns.
  • Analyze passenger booking velocity, historical performance, special events, and partnership opportunities.
  • Optimize flight inventory, yield, and volume controls to achieve revenue and RASK targets.
  • Conduct regular KPI reviews at POS, O&D, and route levels and take corrective actions.
  • Benchmark pricing and demand against competitors and market conditions.
  • Develop revenue optimization strategies by season, day of week, and time of day.
  • Use revenue management decision‑support tools to drive pricing and inventory actions.
  • Coordinate closely with Corporate Planning, Scheduling, Group Desk, MIS, CBI, Partnerships, Alliances, RM support teams, and Field Sales support.
  • Mentor, coach, and coordinate workflow within the revenue management team.
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in airline revenue management.
  • Experience in a global airline revenue management environment (preferred).
  • Strong exposure to point of sale and origin‑and‑destination control models.
  • Advanced analytical skills with a solid understanding of economic and mathematical concepts related to pricing and revenue management.
Skills Set
  • Airline revenue management and pricing systems such as PROS and Amadeus Fare filing and tariff systems including ATPCO, SITA, and airline pricing platforms.
  • Pricing tools such as PLP, Air Price, SITA, or Sabre.
  • Strong data analysis, forecasting, and decision‑making skills.
  • Ability to delegate, mentor, coach, and lead workflows effectively.
  • Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills.
