Training Supervisor M/F
We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Global Services Energy Middle East LLC Doha, Qatar for a :
Purpose Plan, coordinate, and execute organisational learning initiatives end-to-end. Accountable for accurate Training Needs Analysis, sourcing and delivery of quality training solutions, measurement of learning outcomes, and administration of the Learning Management System — all in support of continuous capability development and organisational performance.
Key Responsibilities
Training Needs Analysis
:
Collaborate with business leaders and the Capability Development team to identify capability gaps at organisational, departmental, and individual levels. Consolidate findings and prepare the annual TNA and Training Calendar for approval.
Training Planning & Sourcing
:
Identify and evaluate external training providers and programmes for relevance, quality, and value for money. Coordinate vendor registration with Supply Chain and conduct annual vendor evaluations.
Training Coordination & Delivery
:
Communicate training plans to stakeholders; coordinate schedules, venues, facilitators, and participant logistics. Monitor execution against timelines and quality standards. Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and training partners to develop fit-for-purpose training modules.
Evaluation & Effectiveness
:
Administer pre‑ and post‑training evaluations; collect and analyse participant feedback and learning assessments. Produce evaluation reports with actionable recommendations.
LMS & eLearning Administration
:
Administer and maintain the LMS — upload programmes, manage enrolments, track completions, assign online resources, and resolve system issues.
Reporting & Data Management
:
Maintain comprehensive training records; generate regular and ad‑hoc reports on participation, completion, and effectiveness. Provide data‑driven insights for workforce planning; support audits and management reviews with accurate training data.
Reporting & Interfaces Reports to:
Chief Major Projects Officer. Manages:
Section Heads, Engineers, Coordinators, Supervisors, Inspectors. Interfaces with: EPCC Contractor, Subcontractors, Procurement, Engineering teams, and client IMS functions.
Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field — mandatory. Professional certification (CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent) — desirable. Certified Trainer qualification — advantageous. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a training or L&D function. Proven track record in end‑to‑end training programme delivery at company‑wide scale. Demonstrated experience with LMS platforms and emerging learning technologies. Solid understanding of competency framework development and implementation.
Technical Competencies End‑to‑end Training Needs Analysis and annual calendar planning. Training vendor identification, evaluation, and management. LMS administration (upload, tracking, reporting, user support). Design and delivery of training evaluation frameworks (pre/post assessments, feedback analysis). Data management and reporting; ability to produce insights from training metrics. Familiarity with Client Integrated Management Systems (Quality, HSE, Environment, Energy, Responsible Care).
Behavioural Competencies Organised and detail‑oriented, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent training programmes. Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills across business units. Proactive in identifying learning gaps and proposing solutions. Data‑driven mindset; comfortable translating training metrics into management‑level reporting. Committed to quality standards and continuous improvement.
