Position: Business analyst with experience in T24 core banking , digital banking

We have an urgent requirement for a Business Analyst with experience in T24 core banking modules, digital banking, channels, payment, AML & Banking Domain with our client based in Doha Qatar.

Job Purpose

To conduct in-depth business analysis, gather and document functional and non‑functional requirements, lead the development of RFPs for vendor selection, write and review business use cases and test cases, oversee project requirements and testing phases, and provide detailed status and progress reports. Ensure full compliance with organizational and PMO frameworks to deliver bank digital transformation projects.

Key Accountabilities
  • Project Business Analysis: conduct thorough business analysis to define project scope and objectives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Identify project requirements by engaging with stakeholders to understand business needs and challenges.
  • Requirements Gathering and Documentation: collect and document comprehensive business and technical requirements through interviews, workshops, focus groups, and surveys. Ensure requirements are clearly articulated, understood, and agreed upon by all stakeholders.
  • RFP Development and Vendor Selection: prepare detailed RFPs for sourcing vendors and solutions that meet project needs. Lead the vendor selection process through objective evaluation and alignment with project requirements and organizational standards.
  • Test Case Development and Review: write and review test use cases to cover all functional and non‑functional requirements. Ensure test cases are comprehensive, clear, and aligned with project objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Testing and UAT Leadership: lead project testing and UAT phases, coordinating with stakeholders and the project team to execute test cases and manage testing schedules. Drive issue resolution and re‑testing to ensure all criteria are met for successful sign‑off and closure.
  • Reporting and Compliance: regularly report on status and progress of business analysis, testing, and overall project health to stakeholders and the PMO. Ensure all activities and documentation are in full compliance with organizational and PMO frameworks, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Operations Management

Assist in managing the day‑to‑day operations of the PMO department by providing expertise, ensuring teamwork, and aligning project processes to achieve high performance standards related to project delivery and ensure project stakeholders meet established targets and objectives.

Project Management Office Programs and Guidelines

Support project management guidelines for enhancing project processes as per agreed strategic objectives, timelines, and budgetary requirements.

Selection and RFP Support
  • Provide advice and guidance during RFP development, reviewing and analysing tender documentation to ensure that project requirements and scopes are clear and accurate prior to releasing to prospective vendors.
  • Support shortlisting and vendor selection by providing technical review of proposals and vendor submissions to ensure compliance with RFP and project requirements, highlighting any areas of variance prior to award.
Testing Management
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to devise test objectives, organizational test policies, test strategies and test plans.
  • Lead, guide, and monitor the analysis, design, implementation and execution of test cases, test procedures and test suites.
Project Management
  • Prepare effective alignment of project plans to ensure consistency with agreed standards, specifications, and timeline provisions.
  • Assist, when applicable, in training project managers on the project management toolset.
  • Deliver and assist in implementing and executing projects on time and on budget with high standards, while measuring risk and issues.
  • Contribute to monitoring activities of assigned project team members, including any assigned third‑party consultants.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • PMI-PBA certified or related certificates.
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years relevant experience in a bank or financial institution in an IT PMO function.
  • Strong experience in T24 core banking modules, digital banking, channels, payment, AML.
  • Knowledge of project management principles, policies, procedures, and internal processes.
  • Knowledge of portfolio and relationship management.
