The Principal Business Analyst bridges the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders. This role involves gathering and analyzing requirements, defining business processes, and ensuring that AI products align with business goals and user needs.
Responsibilities and Duties- Gather and analyze business requirements to define AIproduct features and functionalities.
- Develop and document business processes, workflows, and usecases for AI products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and designers, to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for new AI products and enhancements to existing products.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with business stakeholders to gather feedback and validate requirements.
- Develop and maintain business analysis documentation,including requirement specifications, process maps, and user stories.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of AI products,providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards in all business analysis activities.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior business analysts and other team members.
- Prepare and present business analysis reports and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the development of departmental goals.
- Perform other duties relevant to the job as assigned by theHead of AI Products & Development or senior management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)) are preferred
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in business analysis orrelated fields
- Experience in analyzing AI or technology-focused products
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- In-depth understanding of business analysis principles andbest practices
- Familiarity with market research and competitive analysis techniques
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and regulatory standards
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Business analysis tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Microsoft Visio)
- Market research and analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics,Survey Monkey)
- Collaboration and communication tools (e.g., Slack,Microsoft Teams)
- Data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
