Position: Social Media (SM) Specialist

Job Title:

Social Media (SM) Specialist Job Profile / Summary

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for creating, publishing, and managing bilingual (Arabic & English) content across Hukoomi’s social media channels. The role supports government communication objectives by driving digital engagement, responding to user interactions, and monitoring platform performance in line with established KPIs and reporting requirements.

Experience & Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in social media content creation and management
  • Proven experience handling bilingual social media content (Arabic & English)
  • Good understanding of government communication strategies and public-sector digital engagement
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet publishing timelines
Key

Roles & Responsibilities Content Creation & Publishing
  • Create, write, and publish social media content in Arabic and English, including:
    • Original text
    • Images and visuals
    • Videos
    • HTML-based content (where applicable)
  • Publish content across all Hukoomi social media channels in accordance with approved editorial calendars
Community Management & Engagement
  • Monitor social media channels and respond promptly and professionally to users’ queries, feedback, and complaints
  • Escalate sensitive issues or critical feedback to the Stream Lead or Team Lead when required
  • Ensure all interactions follow government communication tone, policies, and guidelines
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Track and analyze social media performance metrics, including reach, engagement, and user interactions
  • Prepare regular performance reports and insights to support content optimization and strategy improvement
Best Practices & Compliance
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, technologies, and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with editorial guidelines, accessibility standards, and platform policies
  • Follow defined reporting processes and meet all required KPIs
Additional Responsibilities
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Stream Lead or Team Lead
  • Support campaign execution and special initiatives as required
