We are looking for a passionate and driven Content Writer to join the ILQ editorial team. The role involves identifying trending and impactful topics, conducting on-ground visits, research and interviews, fact-checking information, and producing high-quality articles and content aligned with ILQ’s tone of voice. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced digital newsroom and has a strong sense of what makes content timely, relevant, and engaging.

• Identify trending, newsworthy, and engaging topics relevant to Qatar.
• Conduct research, interviews, and site visits to gather accurate information.
• Write professional, well-structured articles in ILQ’s editorial tone.
• Take prompt action on breaking news and time-sensitive stories.
• Fact-check content to ensure accuracy and credibility.
• Work independently while meeting tight deadlines.
• Adapt quickly to changes in content strategy or editorial priorities.

• Strong interest in digital media and content creation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent research, writing, and storytelling skills.
• Creative thinker with a problem-solving mindset.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Flexible with working hours, including weekends or evenings when required.

• Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in content writing, journalism, or digital media.
