Social Media Editor, Time

Time Out Doha is looking for a social savvy Social Media Editor to lead its social content across multiple platforms. Based in Doha, the ideal candidate is experienced in all aspects of social media content creation, with a dialed‑in sense of the city’s going‑out scene, strong local preferences knowledge, and skill at creating scroll‑stopping content.

• Create package and publish daily content across all brand social media accounts.
• Match content to the right platform and publish it with creativity, accuracy and strong editorial judgement across Instagram, Facebook and X (Twitter). Knowledge of Tik Tok is also useful.
• Plan and maintain a forward‑looking social calendar in collaboration with the Editor aligned with the wider editorial strategy and content schedule.
• Guarantee that every piece of social content reflects Time Out’s editorial standards, voice and brand guidelines.
• Develop and refine a social media strategy that reaches, engages and grows Time Out Doha’s social audience.
• Stay ahead of emerging trends and platform developments, identifying new opportunities for Time Out Doha to activate and innovate.
• Hit posting targets and help to produce monthly reports.
