Experienced Editor

Job Description
An Experienced Editor is responsible for reviewing, editing, and creating high-quality bilingual (Arabic and English) content for government digital platforms. The role ensures content accuracy, clarity, consistency, and compliance with editorial, accessibility, and government communication standards. They collaborate with Editors, Senior Editors, and Stream Leads to deliver engaging, error-free content while meeting KPIs and organizational guidelines.

• Conduct the first review for any contents delivered by the Editor or Senior Editor and apply the required corrections and changes before delivering the content to the Stream Lead.
• Write Arabic and English content for the government platform whenever required, including news, events, services, articles, topics, etc.
• Check any editorial requests as requested, report any remarks, and apply the necessary editorial changes.
• Update any required content sections on the government platform whenever needed.
• Follow editorial guidelines, accessibility guidelines, and any other framework, policies, or procedures.
• Gather information from credible sources and comply with content copyrights, before creating or publishing any content.
• Perform other duties as requested and follow required reporting and KPIs.

• 7+ years of experience in the content creation/editorial field and writing bilingual content in both Arabic and English.
• Good understanding of government communication strategies and digital engagement.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• Reports to the Stream Lead and Team Lead.
