Purpose of the Role
To manage and control the financial operations of a rapidly growing automotive business, ensuring strong financial governance, accurate reporting, cost control, and compliance, while supporting the General Manager with timely financial insights and decision support.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all financial accounting, reporting, and budgeting activities.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Manage working capital, including inventory, receivables, payables, and bank facilities.
- Ensure compliance with Qatari financial, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Support vehicle import costing, pricing analysis, and margin control.
- Implement and maintain internal controls, policies, and financial procedures.
- Coordinate audits, statutory filings, and liaison with external auditors and banks.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business growth and operational decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional qualification preferred (ACCA, CPA, CMA).
- Proven experience in financial management, preferably in automotive, heavy vehicles or earth-moving machinery.
- Strong understanding of inventory accounting and cost control.
- Experience in start-up or fast-growing businesses is an advantage.
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and MS Excel.
