Position:
Deputy Finance Manager Educational & Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualification CPA / ACCA / CA (or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting within a QCB-regulated exchange house, bank, or financial institution.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
  • Hands‑on involvement in year‑end closing, audits, and regulatory submissions.
Technical & Regulatory Knowledge
  • Strong working knowledge of International Accounting Standards (IAS/IFRS).
  • Sound understanding of Qatar Central Bank (QCB) regulations, regulatory reporting requirements, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience in implementing and monitoring internal controls and financial policies.
  • Practical exposure to foreign currency transactions, liquidity management, and exchange house operations is an advantage.
Financial & Analytical Skills
  • Strong capability in financial analysis, variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Experience in preparing management reports.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and financial software.
  • Practical understanding of finance digitalization, automated reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
Leadership & Operational Skills
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise finance teams, review work output, and ensure adherence to deadlines.
  • Capability to mentor junior staff and manage daily finance operations effectively.
  • Proven ability to act as Finance Manager delegate during absences, ensuring continuity of operations and approvals.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to work under tight regulatory and reporting deadlines independently.
  • Strong organizational, time‑management, and multitasking skills.
Language & Communication
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Arabic language skills are an advantage.
