Audit Consultant Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Audit Consultant to support audit, compliance, and risk management activities. The candidate will be responsible for assessing internal controls, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing recommendations to improve operational efficiency and governance practices. The ideal candidate should have local experience, government sector exposure, professional certification, and Arabic language proficiency.

• Conduct internal audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments
• Evaluate financial, operational, and regulatory processes
• Identify control gaps and recommend corrective actions
• Prepare audit reports, findings, and documentation
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and government regulations
• Support implementation of governance and risk management frameworks
• Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders during audit activities
• Monitor follow-up actions and remediation plans

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Professional certification preferred (CIA, CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of audit methodologies, compliance, and internal controls
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit tools

• Local experience is mandatory
• Government sector exposure is required
• Arabic Speaker is mandatory
• Professional certification is preferred/required

• 5+ years of experience in audit, compliance, risk management, or related functions
• Experience in government, semi-government, or regulated sectors preferred

• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Ability to handle multiple audit assignments
• Excellent stakeholder coordination skills
• Strong report writing and presentation abilities
