SM Business Support & Financial Control - Revenue Management

About the Role

Creating added value for QR Group by building trustworthy relationships with Finance and Revenue Management heads through insightful reporting and analysis for senior and executive management. Acting as a business partner and single point of contact for senior/executive finance management, bridging Finance (BF, AP, AR, Finance Centers of Expertise) with the business, and ensuring compliance with Qatar Airways accounting policies and procedures.

• Contribute to the development of Qatar Airways Group goals and objectives, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and providing insightful information to the senior management team.
• Develop strategic financial plans, measure financial performance, and assist and steer Revenue Management toward sustained profitability.
• Advise the CFO and other key senior management on financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, investment priorities, and policy matters.
• Ensure effective communication and relationship between Finance and Revenue Management.
• Capture and integrate market intelligence into strategic planning with a focus on competitive advantage.
• Perform monthly/quarterly reporting of KPIs, cost of investment, financing scenarios, realistic revenue/cost assumptions, manpower impact, sensitivity analysis, and generate EVA metrics (IRR, NPV, payback) highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Present an objective view of the financial situation and provide sound recommendations for efficient allocation of resources to achieve Revenue Management goals.
• Incorporate forecast planning and ensure provisions for major risks and opportunities arising from normal operations.
• Lead units and strategic business drivers to determine investment allocation, creating comprehensive Business Cases for proposed projects with investment cost, benefits, scope, dependencies, risk, and alignment to strategic objectives.
• Create awareness of financial dynamics through transparent, reliable reports, analyses, and presentations focused on KPIs and key messages.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of job‑related experience.
• 5 years in an airline management position, with Revenue Management experience.
• Knowledgeable in airline operations.
• Command of the English language.
• Strong analytical skills, including variance review and understanding of the business cycle impact on P&L.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
