Position: QNB3733-Associate, Communications PMO

Job Summary

The incumbent will be responsible for providing supporting business analysis activities to gather required reporting and dashboards for the PMO. The incumbent will translate to senior management business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards, created from various data sources. The candidate will provide support for the entire projects financial cycle within GCD to ensure QNB invoicing, billing and payment process is in line with the bank and general GCD policy and procedure.

Main Responsibilities

Shareholder & Financial:

- Follow and control department-consolidated budget forecast to control and monitor expenditure.

- Assist in supervising the creation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for performance monitoring and quality measurement purposes and assist in monitoring their achievement on a periodic basis.

- Assist in expenditure tracking and efficiency planning to all purchases.

- Implements KPI’s and best practices for MIS.

- Promote cost consciousness and efficiency and enhance productivity, to minimise cost, avoid waste, and optimise benefits for the bank.

- Act within the limits of the powers delegated to the incumbent.

Customer (Internal & External):

- Work closely with internal teams to implement goals, objectives and specific implementation plans that promote the organization brand

- Work closely with internal units to ensure compliance to operational excellence and budget control.

- Assist customers in all their queries on Bank’s product and seek solution to their requests.

- Maintain activities in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal departments/units to achieve improvements in turn-around time.

- Build and maintain strong/effective relationships with related departments/units to achieve the Group’s objectives.

- Provide timely/accurate data to external/internal Auditors, Compliance, Financial Control and Risk when required.

Internal (Processes, Products, Regulatory):

- Provide ongoing support and maintenance to the existing MIS systems

- Generate and distribute management reports

- Provide ongoing recommendations to update current MIS guidelines to improve reporting efficiency and consist4ence

- Perform ongoing data analysis for generating reports to PMO and senior leadership on periodic basic

- Ensure complete purchasing and procurement control with clerks to streamline department’s budgets, reservation and payments via Oracle / procurement software’s and any other platform.

- Collaborating with PMO to provide internal stakeholders operational efficiencies

- Analysing financial data, including project budgets, risks and resource allocation

- Providing financial and operational reports to PMO on periodic basis

- Devise budget updates based on analysis and overall requirements by PMO / GCD

- Overlook clerks and administrative requirements are met as per department P&P and ensure a healthy financial cycle in terms of invoices and payments.

- Establish qualitative and quantitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which GCD operational efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated and provide recommendations for improvement.

- Evaluate the efficiency of business procedures according to organizations objective and apply improvements

- Ensure budget reservation and invoicing in timely manner for all units and as per GCD general P&P

- Support QA unit by advising on operational requirement for effective formulation of policies to promote implementation

- Improving cost efficiency of business operations through resource allocation

- Conducting budget reviews and reports finding

- Ensuring department meet financial goals and objectives

- Identifying more cost efficient ways to do business, set and execute department wide budgets, and forecasting efforts

Learning & Knowledge:

- Proactively identify areas for professional development of self and undertake development activities.

- Seek out opportunities to remain current with all developments in professional field.

- Coach less experienced personnel on preliminary role responsibilities.
