Al Jazeera Media Network is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team on a 12-month contract. This opportunity is ideal for a finance professional who combines strategic thinking with strong technical expertise and can drive financial planning, budgeting, and analytical excellence within a dynamic international media environment.

This role will play a critical part in strengthening financial frameworks, enhancing planning capabilities, and partnering across functions to support informed business decision-making.

• Lead and support corporate financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning activities.
• Design, enhance, and manage multi-dimensional Chart of Accounts structures to support robust financial reporting and operational insights.
• Drive Driver-Based Budgeting methodologies
  , ensuring financial plans are closely aligned with operational objectives and business performance indicators.
• Partner with Finance, Technology, and Business stakeholders to improve financial processes and reporting frameworks.
• Provide analytical insight and recommendations to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Support process optimization initiatives and financial system enhancements.
• Ensure financial data integrity, consistency, and adherence to governance standards.

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to think strategically and maintain a big-picture approach to corporate finance.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing multi-dimensional Chart of Accounts structures.
• Advanced expertise in Driver-Based Budgeting and linking budgets to operational planning models.
• Hands-on experience with SAP is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively across Finance, IT, and Business functions. Fluency in English is required. Arabic language capability is highly preferred.
• Experience working within complex, large-scale organizations is advantageous.
