The Business Support and Financial Control Analyst role in Doha, Qatar plays a key part in financial planning and analysis activities, supporting management with accurate reporting, cost control, and evaluation of business cases to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

• Develop financial models and perform quantitative analysis to support business decisions
• Analyze revenues and costs and prepare detailed variance and root-cause analysis on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes in line with corporate targets and strategies
• Review and consolidate departmental financial results during monthly close and annual budgeting cycles
• Prepare management reports and dashboards to support senior finance and business stakeholders
• Identify and implement process improvements in collaboration with finance and business teams
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis for senior management and finance leadership
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators in coordination with business stakeholders
• Ensure financial reporting aligns with corporate finance definitions and accounting standards
• Review business cases for investments, insource versus outsource decisions, and cost optimization initiatives
• Monitor spending against approved budgets and recommend corrective actions where required
• Review contracts and agreements to ensure financial compliance and accuracy
• Support continuous improvement of financial reporting, management accounting, and profitability analysis processes
• Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by the Business Finance management team

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of relevant financial analysis experience
• Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and business drivers
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Access, and PowerBI
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively across departments
• Knowledge of cost center accounting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Airline industry experience is an advantage
