• Lead accounts receivable and credit control teams to ensure timely billing, collections, and compliance with approved credit terms
• Act as a strategic finance partner to business stakeholders, supporting cash flow objectives and centralized finance operations
• Define and execute strategic objectives for accounts receivable and credit control functions across the group
• Drive automation and continuous process improvement initiatives in collaboration with IT and CI and T teams
• Oversee monthly financial close, ensuring accuracy of accounts receivable ledgers and management reporting
• Review and approve credit applications, ticketing authorities, and stock allocations in line with internal policies
• Ensure timely payment of overriding commissions, incentives, and agent settlements
• Monitor outstanding balances, credit exposure, and financial risk, escalating issues to minimize group exposure
• Develop and maintain risk matrices by market, country, and station to establish effective credit risk profiles
• Manage bad and doubtful debts reporting, default accounts, and follow-up on legal cases
• Conduct regular self-audits, reconciliations, and control checks to ensure accounting accuracy
• Prepare monthly AR MIS reports, ageing analysis, ad hoc financial analysis, and management dashboards
• Liaise with IATA bodies including BSP, CASS, ICH, and ICCS on reporting, defaults, and MIS requirements
• Support internal and external audits by providing timely and accurate responses
• Perform additional duties as directed by senior management

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
• Strong background in accounts receivable, credit control, and financial risk management
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and internal finance platforms
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Solid understanding of financial and management accounts with ability to explain to non-finance stakeholders
• Knowledge of contract management and cost center accounting
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight reporting deadlines
• High level of integrity with strict adherence to confidentiality requirements
• In-depth knowledge of IATA, ICH, ICCS, and CASS rules and procedures for passenger and cargo operations
