• Develop financial models and perform detailed quantitative analysis to support business decisions.
• Analyse actual revenues and costs and prepare root‑cause variance analysis for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
• Provide regular financial performance reports and insights to management.
• Conduct ad hoc revenue and cost analysis for senior finance and business leadership.
• Identify, develop and track key performance indicators in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Ensure financial accounting and management reporting align with corporate finance definitions and standards.
• Optimise reporting processes related to financial accounting, management reporting and route profitability where applicable.
• Review annual budget submissions in line with strategic objectives and management targets.
• Monitor and control spending to ensure cost‑of‑sale targets are achieved and recommend corrective actions.
• Review and evaluate business‑case proposals focused on revenue growth or cost reduction.
• Review contracts and agreements to ensure financial compliance.
• Consolidate and analyse departmental financial results on a monthly basis and during the annual budgeting cycle.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives within business finance processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Business Finance Manager.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of relevant financial analysis experience.
• Proven experience working as a financial analyst.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret variances, financial data and profit‑and‑loss impacts.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication and presentation skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Power
  
  BI.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain strict confidentiality of financial information.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to add value to internal stakeholders.
• Good knowledge of internal finance systems, cost‑centre accounting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Airline industry experience is preferred.
