Key Accountabilities- Supervision of Subordinates:
Organise and supervise the activities and work of the Life Insurance telesales unit to ensure that all work within this area is carried out in an efficient manner, which is consistent with operating procedures and policies. - Provide on-the-job training, coaching and constructive feedback to subordinates to support their overall development.
- Product Strategy:
Provide regular feedback on issues faced by the Life Insurance Tele Sales unit to support the Life Insurance product and sales strategy to support the delivery of underlying team objectives. - Sales monitoring:
Monitor sales performance regularly versus the budget of the life insurance telesales team, in order to ensure meeting the set budgets. - Ensure that all sales activities are conducted within the controls and quality standards set by CB guidelines and compliant with QCB regulations.
- Cross sell of bancassurance products:
Plan and drive cross sell of life insurance products through the Telesales team, targeting to meet assigned product penetration rates. - Reporting and Operational Needs Assessment:
Provide and analyse periodic and / or ad hoc reports in order to provide insights and clarity of life insurance products current activities and performance. - Training and Certification:
Responsible for ensuring the Life Insurance tele sales team complete required product and bank training courses in a timely nature in accordance with the QCB provisions. - Policies, Systems, Processes and Procedures:
Ensure that functional procedures and controls covering a specific area of activity are conducted in compliance with risk, audit, and regulatory requirements. - MIS and Reports:
Prepare departmental and regulatory MIS statements and reports timely and accurately to meet CB and QCB reporting requirements, policies and standards. - Related Assignments:
Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.
- Minimum Qualifications:
University Degree. - Minimum Experience:
Minimum 3 years in Insurance Industry. - Knowledge, & Other
Skills:- Retail banking knowledge.
- Financial understanding.
- Communication and Presentation skills.
- Understanding of insurance business and Qatar Market.
- Strong Sales management background.
- Preferably Arabic Speaker.
