Finance Director – Pre-Opening Luxury Hotel, Doha

I am seeking an experienced and commercially driven Finance Director to join the pre-opening team of a luxury hotel in Doha. This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy, systems, and controls of a flagship property from the ground up.

As Finance Director, you will oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, compliance, and cash flow management. Working closely with the General Manager and ownership, you will provide strategic financial guidance to support the successful launch and long‑term profitability of the hotel.

You will lead the setup of financial systems and processes, ensure robust internal controls, and build and mentor a high‑performing finance team. The role requires a hands‑on approach during pre‑opening, transitioning into a strategic leadership position post‑opening.

• Proven experience as a Finance Director or senior finance leader within luxury hospitality
• Strong pre‑opening experience highly preferred
• In‑depth knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and controls
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Relevant finance qualification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)
