Accountant, Financial Reporting, Financial Analyst

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage and monitor cash flow planning and forecasting.
• Prepare, review, and analyze Profit & Loss (P&L) statements.
• Assist management in budget preparation, financial planning, and cost control initiatives.
• Support sales forecasting and provide financial insights to drive business decisions.
• Perform variance analysis and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and reconciliation of accounts.
• Monitor inventory accounting, food cost analysis, and operational expenses.
• Assist in developing financial models and business performance reports.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with operations and management teams to improve financial performance.
• Maintain strong internal controls and recommend process improvements.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (mandatory).
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry.
• Professional qualifications such as CMA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Qatar-based candidates are preferred.

• Experience in multi-outlet restaurant, café, catering, or hospitality operations.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and food cost controls.
• Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable business recommendations.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills.
