To monitor, control, and report project costs throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring expenditures remain within approved budgets while providing accurate financial analysis and forecasts to support project decision‑making.
Key Activities:- Manage and process project invoices, commitments, and expenditures.
- Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cost performance.
- Support monthly cost reporting, accruals, and budget updates.
- Review and validate purchase requisitions (PRs) and purchase orders (POs).
- Coordinate with Finance and other stakeholders on cost control, invoicing, and accounting matters.
- Perform cost analysis and provide accurate financial data for project decision‑making.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, financial controls, and reporting requirements.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in cost engineering or cost control within Oil & Gas projects.
- Strong knowledge of SAP, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, accruals, invoice processing, and cost reporting.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural project environment.
