Job SummaryThe incumbent is responsible for supporting relationships with High Net Worth (HNW) customers, including members of the ruling family and government officials. Acting as a one‑stop solution for all private banking services, the role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure priority processing of customer needs and requests.
Main Responsibilities- Assist in evaluating private client financial data and investment objectives based on risk profile and personal financial statements.
- Implement strategies to achieve volume, revenue, and profit targets for the HNW segment.
- Apply KPI’s and best practices for the Private Banking Sales role.
- Promote cost consciousness, efficiency, and productivity to minimize cost and optimize benefits.
- Act within delegated powers and maintain customer‑centric focus.
- Serve as the main point of contact for international and domestic private banking services for HNW customers, increasing their portfolio of assets and liabilities.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints promptly.
- Support visits to HNW customers to strengthen relationships through personalized interaction.
- Market the group’s products and services to HNW customers, including ruling family members and government officials.
- Assist in new business development by identifying prospective clients and cross‑selling private banking products and services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with related departments to prioritize and resolve customer queries and operational issues.
- Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal units are met to improve turn‑around time.
- Provide timely and accurate data to auditors, compliance, financial control, and risk teams.
- Contribute product and market feedback to the SVP Private Banking Sales for developing a credible product set.
- Expand the HNW customer base by introducing innovative products and providing superior services.
- Ensure proper processes for launching new products tailored for the HNW segment.
- Adhere to approved policies and procedures governing account opening and other operational requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of private banking business, products, risks, operations, and controls.
- Identify areas for personal professional development and undertake relevant activities.
- Comply with all legal, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements, including AML, CTF, sanctions, data protection, fraud control, whistle‑blowing, and conflict of interest policies.
- Operate under the Three Lines of Defence framework to identify, monitor, and report risks.
- Support Conduct Risk and Operational Risk Management frameworks (RCSA, KRI, incident reporting, remediation).
- Ensure data protection and confidentiality, safeguarding commercially sensitive information.
- Maintain high professional standards to uphold QNB’s reputation and strengthen market leadership.
- Perform any ad‑hoc duties or activities requested by management.
- Bachelor’s degree (University Graduate) in Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Completion of financial lending related courses preferred.
- No prior experience required; entry‑level role.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
