Assistant Manager - Treasury

To implement treasury policies and strategies, manage cash flows efficiently, provide timely financial information to senior management, mitigate risks in Cash Management and Trade Finance, and adopt emerging treasury technologies as directed by Asset and Asset Management (AAM) guidelines.

• Manage and strategize cash and bank balances by communicating informed decisions to senior finance management.
• Review and approve POS transactions reconciliations process and manage the automation.
• Manage all incoming receipts accounting.
• Optimise Treasury Operations and help develop strategies in coordination with Finance Management to maximise efficiencies, safeguard assets and minimise costs.
• Support and manage corroboration with business units for challenges faced and advise solutions with approval of senior finance management.
• Ensure compliance with all LCs and guarantees as per applicable legal and banking frameworks.
• Ensure all cash and bank reconciliations and sign off.
• Ensure proper controls over banking stationery and timely audits as per management direction.
• Monthly closing on treasury related accounting and reconciliation as per set KPI.
• Manage all quarterly, half-yearly and annual audit requirements.
• Ensure the cashiering manual is fully complied with all team members of Treasury Team.
• Ensure proper controls over PDC count and cash count at all AAM Locations and issue reports.
• Ensure accounting of all treasury-related transactions under IFRS and regulatory frameworks.
• Ensure that Treasury Services provided to internal and external customers are responsive, timely, accurate and reliable.

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study
• Master's degree in Finance with ACA/ FCCA/ CPA (CTP preferred)
• At least 2 - 3 years of Managerial experience required
